Hunter Biden was elevated to Ukraine energy giant Burisma’s board of directors in 2014, at a salary of $1 million per year. A total of over $6.5 million was paid into various Biden family front companies and funds. Ukraine’s top prosecuting attorney, Viktor Shokin, launched an investigation into massive bribery and influence peddling scandals involving the company and several high Ukrainian government officials. Burisma CEO and principal shareholder Mykola Zlochevsky paid over $6 million in bribes in an attempt to halt the investigation. When this failed, Hunter called “D.C.,” where his father, Joe Biden, just happened to be Vice President of the United States of America. Within weeks, Shokin was fired from his post. Joe Biden and his defenders have repeatedly claimed that he had nothing to do with personally intervening into the scandal. But in a recently leaked video, Biden repeatedly brags to a meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations about how, as a senior US leader, he successfully strong-armed the Ukrainian government into firing Shokin:
